1. Community Development
   In the City of Banning, land use policies, standards, and regulations are designed to help ensure the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens, while protecting the rights and privileges of property owners.

3. Fire Department
   The City of Banning has contracted fire protection with the Riverside County Fire Department since September 1998.

5. Parks and Recreation
   The Parks and Recreation Department enhances residents' quality of life through providing affordable, quality recreational and leisure activities for youth, teens, and adults. The Community Services Department also provide Parks Maintenance Services.

7. Police Department
   We are committed to a partnership with the community for the purpose of maintaining a safe environment through leadership, cooperation, and education while equitably enforcing the laws.
   
   
8. Public Works
   The Public Works Department administers an array of services, funneled through the Engineering, Airport, Water/Wastewater, Street Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance divisions and Refuse.
