A landscape maintenance district is a special tax district that is elected to be joined by private property owners, typically developers, who are developing new projects in the City. The City provides contract landscape maintenance services for the defined areas as part of this special district. All revenues collected through property tax rolls remain within the Landscape Maintenance District, in the zone in which the fees are collected.
