The Information Services Department (IS) has operational, strategic and fiscal responsibility for the innovation, implementation and advancement of technology for the City of Banning.
Information Services main focal areas are:
- Network Administration & End-User Support
- Network Security & Website maintenance
- Implementation & support of all City computer systems
The IS Group is customer-centered and driven by its commitment to the City employees.

- Wiring
- Installation
- Maintain computers & network systems
- In addition to the installation and support of standard software applications such as:
- email
- Word processing
- Spreadsheets
The Department supports multiple software applications and guides end-users in the use of applications, the Internet and other technology programs.
