   As citizens of Banning, we need to do better! I drive around Banning and love the history of the town. The old buildings located in the downtown area give a glimpse, of what a growing town looked like...

   As citizens of Banning, we need to do better! I drive around Banning and love the history of the town. The old buildings located in the downtown area give a glimpse, of what a growing town looked like in the past. Banning is considered an old city, but I believe that as citizens we can maintain and keep the city growing with new business and being inviting to the new growth of families. The new Atwater housing is a great start. I feel it shifts Banning into a better position to attract new business. There are residential areas that have older homes with great property. As a homeowner I believe that we should take pride in maintaining our property. We can start with simple projects liking picking up the trash around the property and streets. If you see graffiti in your neighborhood, call the city to report it and get it cleaned up. Let's have community clean up days where the city workers and citizens come together to go to sections of the city that need to be cleaned up.
